Theophilus London Brenmar Nadus Sliink Tribe

In case you missed it, Theophilus London dropped his Tribes remix single at the top of 2015.  The original “Tribes” featuring Jesse Boykins III was produced by Brodinski and Club Cheval and came off of Theophilus’ Vibes album of last fall – executive produced by the one and only Kanye West.  But his smart choices do not end there.  The Tribes Remixes feature reworks from NYC-via-Chicago’s Brenmar and Jersey club’s all-star duo Nomads a/k/a Sliink & Nadus.

Brenmar’s remix brings in the world flavor with genre-swapping style, combining hip hop, dancehall and pop vibes. You can’t help but to start dancing in a circle.  Meanwhile, the Brick Bandits tag-team of Sliink and Nadus remix “Tribes” into a more aggressive format with chattering claps, grill distorting vocals, spotting synths, rhythmic rubs and more. Then, a breaking vocal chipping session. Every verse comes in tight with the beat. The song is fit to a rough gritty break out session.
