Ta-Ku's Songs To Make Up To EP Out Now

Perfectly coifed Perth producer Ta-ku has finally released the much-anticipated follow-up to his acclaimed Songs To Break Up To EP, aptly titled Songs To Make Up To, and out now on Fool’s Gold Records.

That first round of tracks were created to help you get over those pains of breaking up.  The total of seven tracks on Songs To Make Up To – featuring sweet, electronic-tinged soulful R&B and appearances from JMSN, Sango, Atu, Jordan Rakei and Sunni Colón – is Ta-ku’s motivational push for a Chris Brown/Karreuche-style attempt to getting back together. The overall theme of this EP is to (as a track is titled) “Love Again,” and it’s a vibe fest. So, let those feelings out on every record.

Beyond all of that mush, the EP is a smooth, summer groove to just sit outside past 8 p.m. when the sun starts to become hard to see. If you don’t have an ex you actually want to get back together with, you can just play it while you ignore their calls. Stream Ta-ku’s “Love Again” featuring JMSN and Sango here (a full stream is available on Bandcamp).  Purchase his Songs To Make Up To EP on iTunes and pre-order the already sold-out, but now on it’s THIRD press, pink vinyl from Future Classic.
