Mark Pritchard is back this time as… Mark Pritchard. Over the years, we have seen him release a huge range of stylistically diverse electronic masterpieces under different aliases (Harmonic 313, Troubleman, Afrika Hi-Tech, and more), but now he plans on only going by his birth name for all future projects, including his upcoming work on Warp Records.
Pritchard’s plans on releasing a four song collection of new material called Ghosts. Warp Records just posted a preview of the title track “Ghosts”, an 808-filled composition with a whirling synth arpeggio and juke undertones. While we can only imagine what the rest of EP sounds like, we know that if you have a track record of quality music like Mark has, then expectations remain high.
The Ghosts EP will be hit stores June 24 via Warp, as the first in a series of 12″ vinyl EPs. Listen to the eponymous track here.
