DITC New Remixes

It’s been a lil’ while since we’ve seen Luda up in the clouds, eh?  Welcome to a new edition of Digging In The Clouds.  This week, we’ve got some new remixes that we found deep in the overcast still hanging around 1k or less plays, but are too clever to miss out on.

First, we have Parisian producer Tommy Jacob‘s short-but-sweet *epic* orchestral build-up, trap-ish rework of Destiny’s Child‘s “Survivor”; I’m a sucker for those lo-fi, distorted vocal edits also.  Next, one of our favorite new upstarts Soft Glas just dropped his synthy, chillwave remix of It girl Lorde‘s hit pop song “Royals.”

Speaking of pop vocals, Luda dug up this unexpected-yet-creative DnB edit of Ellie Goulding‘s 2010 single “Guns and Horses,” with a hint of dubstep, from Cali-based Joe Crotty.  Finally, we have the hot ‘n steady riddims of Rotterdam artist Babel-ish‘s mid-tempo zouk remix of Kelis‘ “Caught Out There.”

Enjoy Luda’s discoveries here and happy D.I.T.C. Tuesday!

1. Tommy Jacob – Survivor

2. Lorde – Royals (Soft Glas Remix)

3. Ellie Goulding – Guns & Horses (Joe Crotty Remix)
